My father drank tea when I was a child, so I started trying different kinds of tea at an early age. I only knew loose tea for a long time. Even if you put it into aluminium cases, bottles, or other packaged forms, it’s still loose tea. It seems like people always think that loose tea is of better quality. After I had access to tea bags, I had some new ideas.

New choice for packing

Although most shops sell loose tea when facing the demand of the new generation, for example, those who want a cup of tea with ingredients, perhaps tea bag packing will be a better choice.

Also, the tea bag shapes are increasing, we not only have a single chamber, but also a double chamber, pyramid, and circle-shaped tea bag. These showed that the tea bag market is still growing.

Maybe people are still doubting that the tea bag will leach hazardous substances, the answer is that with the development of technology, now we have new materials for tea bags. For example, pyramids currently use PLA and filter paper tea bags using Sesame pulp and wood pulp as raw materials. So the produced tea bags are environmentally friendly and easily biodegradable.

Back to tea’s quality, nowadays companies all over the world start carrying out full tracking and management from the source to strictly control the quality of tea. Today tea bags are not a symbol of low quality, we need to re-view teabags from a developmental perspective.
